Oh, well…

So I thought I might get a nice photobook or something and send it over to my mom after Christmas…

Some 5 seconds after arriving at +PhotoBox website I decided that I will never give these guys my (relatively) hard-earned cash again.

OMG, it's Comic Sans all over the place! Not to mention how crappy the whole website looks on my phone.

You could really do it a bit better guys… It's 2013 after all, not 1999

Backstabbing the green giant

Samsungs mobile OS game goes into its final stage. Damage Android before moving over to Tizen.

Anyone surprised? I guess not… Anyone feels sorry for Google? Again, I guess not.
Maybe now there's some possibility of expansion for those who lost the Android race. HTC and SONY and the rest of the second class citizens in the sad world of Android customization. That would never happen if Google had some restrictions in place when it comes to UX changes and redesign Themes are always OK, but complete rework should've been banned. This is of course the reason behind the fragmentation and Googles biggest mistake with their mobile OS.

NASA lost a $ 125 million orbiter because one team was not using the metric system !

#fail #bigmistake #sciencesunday #metric #ingress #ingressinvite #euromaestro

NASA lost a 125 million Mars orbiter in 1999 because a Lockheed Martin engineering team used English units of measurement while the agency's team used the more conventional metric system for a key spacecraft operation.

+Erica Joy mused in her post that perhaps Ingress's purpose was to teach Americans about the metric system.

Even though I'm still waiting for my #ingressinvite , I was intrigued by her comment and thought about the US resistance to metric system adoption.

I also remeber reading articles about studies done in the 1970s and later in the 1980s citing the number of billions of dollars the US loses every year by not using the metric system.

Is it time the US started using the metric system ?
